Cocoberry Fusion Smoothie Bowl Recipe

I know I'm sort of late to the smoothie bowl craze, but I thought I'd give it a go and make my very own recipe! Most smoothie bowls contain ingredients that have boosting health benefits, so I decided to include a couple of these wholesome foods, but you'll have to stick around to see which ones I used!

First and foremost, we need fruit in order for this to be a smoothie. So, grab 1 cup of lightly thawed frozen strawberries, 1 cup of blueberries along with 1 whole banana and put those into your blender cup. (All the measurements and ingredients will be listed at the end of the post).
Now, to add just a little bit of some texture to your smoothie, add 1 and 1/2 tbsp of almonds and the same amount of chia seeds into your blender.
Once you've got all of that in, we need to add some ice. Start out with 2 cups of ice, and later on gradually add more to the blender when needed. To help liquefy your blend, pour 1/2 cup of pomegranate juice and 1 tsp of agave sweetener into your mixture.
And in order for the smoothie to be thick enough to hold your toppings at the end, 1 whole packaged greek yogurt cup will do the trick.

Now, blend! After your mixture is smooth, include 1 tbsp of coconut oil into your smoothie.

It is important to do this at the end because it will clump up if you put it in too early. Blend that in and your smoothie is DONE!
However, the main point of a smoothie bowl is to have a variety of toppings. Slice half a banana and a strawberry and place the contents on the top of your smoothie in any way you please. Now gather a handful of blueberries, almonds and chia seeds in any desired amount and top off your smoothie bowl.
And the finished product should look somewhat like this!

Ingredients: serves 2
Ice
1 whole banana
1 cup blueberries
1 cup lightly thawed frozen strawberries
1 1/2 tbsp almonds
1 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp agave sweetener
1/2 cup of pomegranate juice
1 whole packaged greek yogurt cup
1 tbsp coconut oil

Toppings:
1/2 sliced banana
1 sliced strawberry
a handful of blueberries, almonds, and chia seeds
